To make eBay synonymous with luxury, we opened the Luxury Exchange, a first-of-its-kind retail experiment in the heart of NYC's diamond district, where luxury items acted as legal tender. Shoppers were invited to have their jewelry, handbags, and watches appraised and exchanged for “closet currency” - or store credit - to shop for authentic items from eBay’s top luxury sellers.
